Well, here we are. Knockwood’s first blog post!
We’ve often thought, what’s the purpose of a blog? What on earth would we write? Do we really need one? The answer is, absolutely! Our head's are always buzzing with new ideas for how to improve the venue and ways that we can support our couples throughout the whole wedding planning process so, what better way then add pen to paper (or keyboard to screen?) and get it all down and make space for new ideas.
Prior to writing this, we’ve been sat with a pen and paper for fifteen minutes, frantically noting down blog post ideas. We currently have twenty-eight on my list. Twenty-eight posts across the next twenty-eight months on all things outdoor receptions! It’s proving tricky picking which should be the first one to go live.
The aim of our blog is to answer any questions and lay any myths to rest by posting monthly ‘5 Top Tips’. We’ll have the support of a number of our recommended suppliers, each writing a piece for us on their ‘5 Top Tips’ in their area of expertise. We’ll have everything on here from marquees to catering, prop hire to toilets. You name, it’s going to be covered!
We also want to be transparent with how the venue is run including behind the scenes. We’re such a small team and
we all get so involved with the venue. We’re still learning, and I don’t think we’ll ever stop.
We’re really looking forward to embarking on our blogging journey and hope you’ll find our posts helpful and useful.
